Over the weekend at D23: The Ultimate Fan Event, we made an unprecedented number of announcements. I truly believe that only Disney has the creativity and innovation to deliver these new experiences in our theme parks, cruise ships and digital space, and we can’t wait to share them with all of you. I’m so proud of the Cast Members and Imagineers, who are the best storytellers in the world.#Horizons #D23 #DisneyParks

Greetings Josh D'AmaroI strongly advise against demolishing Tom Sawyer Island and the Rivers of America.Make no mistake I love to see more attractions and areas coming, and there is more than enough real estate available in the Walt Disney world resort to allow these old and new attractions to coincide with each other.Perhaps the rivers of America can be re-channeled to allow the Liberty Belle to stay inside the magic kingdom rather than have to relocate.I especially love the vintage swing bridge that the railroad uses when crossing the service canal that leads to lake Buena Vista. I sincerely hope that if nothing else these will remain in place.Best,Christopher Cuatt

Humble suggestion, MuppetVision theater is a relatively easy project compared to many others. Move the theater to Animation Courtyard, replacing Launch Bay. That opens up the planned location for Monsters Inc. It would be nice to retain Jim Henson's last directorial project, not to mention one of the last times he voiced Kermit.

Great work from you and your team! I know you all have worked really hard on making all this happen.I do think, though, that removing Rivers of America would detract from the experience of the park. Yes, it takes up space, and, yes, it doesn’t get a lot of love. But sometimes the "things that don’t matter" are what makes the experience great. It’s a chill place to get away from the crowds.I know these decisions don’t come easily, and tough choices have to be made. Again, I really appreciate everything WDI has done to improve the parks, and I look forward to experiencing what you and your team builds for us.

Focus on maintaining and improving existing attractions before building new ones. Please FIRST build an attraction in stiches great escape building. Paint the inside of Prince Charming Carousel that hasn’t been painted in 10 years (the inside floor and walls). Bring back the idea of the Play Pavillion! Epcot needs that. Finish the Mary Poppins ride attraction. Replace the Moroccan fountain with authentic tiles. Find great Moroccan chefs that can be brought to Marrakesh restaurant. Fill the holes in the walls for Toy Story Mania Queue that are unkept. We want to spend our money in a company that reinvests in the idea of Walt Disney. We need to trust you. Help us Josh D’Amaro, you’re our only Hope. I’ll sign an NDA to discuss more with you (DM). Remember the people who really care about the parks spend thousands every year in the parks and many tens of thousands at the parks.

Disney has supported military service members since our founding more than 100 years ago. Today I was honored to spend time with John Arant, a Walt Disney World Cast Member, just before he received the Purple Heart for his service in the United States Army. This solemn distinction is awarded to those like John who have been wounded while in the U.S. Armed Forces. It was a privilege to thank John for his courage, leadership and service to our country. He joined Disney through our Heroes Work Here veteran hiring initiative, and it’s an honor to count him as a Cast Member and invaluable part of the Disney team.#disneycastlife #disneysalutes

Music is one of my favorite parts of a Disney experience – it’sas much a character in our stories as a pirate or a happy haunt. That’swhy I’mso excited to share this new installment of “We Call It Imagineering,” because it takes you behind the scenes to see how Imagineers create the soundtracks to our attractions and shows. And make sure you watch to the end for a special look inside Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which opens at Walt Disney World in just a few weeks. #waltdisneyimagineering

I had the pleasure of speaking to the world's top consumer goods licensees and retailers at the 2024 Licensing Expo in Las Vegas this week. As the top licensor of toys, apparel, home goods and more, Disney showed once again the incredible power of our brand and how our storytelling is stronger than ever. I was very honored to share the stage with a dynamic lineup of creative partners from across the company – Kevin Feige, Jennifer Lee, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Ayo Davis and others.CongratulationstoTasia Filippatos and her Disney Consumer Products team on a great event.

As we celebrate World Wish Day, I’m honored to be part of Disney and be a member of the Make-A-Wish America board. Working with this amazing organization for more than 40 years, Disney has had the privilege of being part of more than 155,000 wishes to children facing critical illnesses – that's more than any other organization in the world. While the number is impressive, the stories about each wish child are what matter most. That’s why, throughout the month of May, we’re extending the World Wish Day celebration byspotlighting 100 unique wishes taking place during this time at our sites around the world.Stories include a young girl named Cora, whose dream came true when she spent time with our animal keepers during a recent trip to Disney’s Animal Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort … and even met a baby elephant with whom she shares a name (Corra).Thank you to Make-A-Wish President and CEO Leslie Motter for the tremendous work her team does. And thank you to our Disney Cast Members around the world who bring magic into the lives of these special children when they need it most.#DisneyWishes #WorldWishDay #WorldWishMonth
